PROTECT SMALL BUSINESS

David believes the days of the Republican Party catering to Wall Street and mega-corporations who despise conservatives must come to an end. ​

Small Businesses are the backbone of the American economy and the epitome of the American Dream. David believes that a key component of putting America First means protecting our small businesses and prioritizing policies that make it easier for them to find and retain workers.

David plans to introduce legislation that would allow small businesses of 40 or less employees to be exempt from federal payroll taxes and taxes on profits, if the money that would have been paid in taxes is used to increase employee wages and reinvested into the business.

David also believes Congress must act to combating the epidemic o frivolous lawsuits from being filed against small business owners. Combating frivolous tort claims can pose a huge financial burden on small businesses owners. David vows to introduce legislation that would allow judges to impose large fines on plaintiffs if the court determines a case about a small business was "frivolous" or filed with malicious intent. This would dramatically reduce the number of frivolous lawsuits filed against small businesses owners.
